The BBrain Family D2 Dementia Clock is a clock specially designed for people suffering from dementia and their loved ones
With this new BBrain clock, children, grandchildren and carers all over the world can send messages, photos and agenda items to the clock. The dementia clock is specifically aimed at people who are no longer able to interact with the clock. This variant has been developed in such a way that it causes as few stimuli as possible for the user. The clock contributes to a better sense of time, which gives the user more control over his day. Experience has shown that people with early dementia benefit from this clock, because it gives them more guidance and self-confidence.

Never forget an appointment again with the BBrain Family D2 Dementia Clock br /> Often a paper calendar or loose notes are still used on which all appointments and medication reminders are noted. This new clock makes the paper calendar and separate notes superfluous. Family, friends, carers and the user themselves can easily send an appointment or reminder to the smart clock via an app on their mobile phone (also possible via the computer). This way the user sees exactly which appointments are in the agenda that day. An agenda item automatically disappears 1 hour after the start, so that the overview shown is always up to date.

Speak notifications
The BBrain smart Dementia Clock speaks agenda items and messages. Agenda items are spoken at the start and messages are announced upon arrival. Did the user miss the notification? Then it is possible to click on the agenda item or message so that it is spoken again. Clicking on the clock display clearly pronounces the day, date and time. The speed of speech and the speech volume can be adjusted based on the user’s preferences. The clock is also equipped with a mute function where the messages are not spoken, which is useful for evenings.

Both analog and digital time display
The time can be displayed both analog, digital and combined are displayed. Thanks to the large 10-inch display, everything is clearly displayed. The text is easy to read from the screen.

Connected via WiFi
A WiFi connection is required to use the subscription, the clock must be set once be connected to WiFi. This is easy to set via the clock itself.

Included App for loved ones
Via the App (both for Apple and Android) loved ones can send messages and photos from a distance. Relatives also have insight into the current agenda of the user. Agenda items can be easily created or modified. A recurring appointment can be created for recurring reminders, such as with medication intake. You can add an unlimited number of relatives via the app.

Subscription
A subscription is available from 6.95 per month. The first month now only costs ¢ ‚¬Å¡ ¬1. The subscription can be canceled monthly. Periodic updates are sent to the smart clock during the subscription period, so that you always have access to the latest new functionalities.

Available in 2 variants
The BBrain Family is available in 2 variants. The BBrain Family G2 smart calendar clock and the BBrain Family D2 dementia clock, a stimulus-free variant. It is always possible to switch variants.

Is this BBrain Family D2 reimbursed?
This Family D2 is unfortunately not reimbursed by the WMO or health insurance, but will certainly contribute to your daily life or the life of your parents, so purchasing this clock yourself can certainly be an option.
