The diatesse XPER test strips are suitable for Diatesse XPER blood sugar meter. Note! These are not suitable for other meters. Together with the meter, these strips test the glucose level in your blood.

With the Diatesse XPER blood glucose test strips, you can measure your blood glucose levels yourself, or have them measured by healthcare professionals, together with the Diatesse XPER meter (TD-42898). . The system uses fresh capillary whole blood samples from the finger and venous whole blood. The system is not intended for the diagnosis and screening of diabetes mellitus. Healthcare professionals can use the test strips to test both capillary and venous whole blood; for home use only capillary whole blood can be tested.

Step 1
Push the blood glucose test strip (the part with the contact points) all the way into the slot of the meter until it goes no further. When the blood glucose test strip is inserted correctly, the meter will perform a series of self-tests.

Step 2
Take a 0.5µI blood sample with the blood glucose test strip . A sufficient amount of blood is required for an accurate test result. Touch the blood drop with the absorbent hole of the blood glucose test strip and wait for the control window to fill completely. DO NOT apply a smeared blood sample. When there is enough blood in the test window, the meter starts an automatic countdown.

Step 3
After a few seconds, the meter will display your blood glucose value. Your last measurement is automatically saved in the meter. Turn off your meter by removing the test strip. Discard the used blood glucose test strip.

CAUTION
The front of the blood glucose test strip should be facing up when you insert the test strip into the meter. Your test results may vary if the contact tip portion is not fully and correctly inserted into the meter’s slot.
