Kliniderm Alginate Cavity is an alginate strand that is suitable for use in wounds that release a lot of exudate, with or without yellow coating, with or without necrosis. Also suitable for use on infected wounds. Kliniderm Alginate can be used to fill deep wounds, fistulas and partially closed surgical wounds. Kliniderm Alginate cleans the wound by absorbing exudate and debris. Should always be covered with a secondary dressing.

- Non-woven strand of calcium and sodium fibers
- Depending on the condition of the wound, Kliniderm Alginate Cavity can remain on/in the wound for several days
- In contact with exudate, a form-retaining gel is formed that provides a moist wound environment and promotes optimal healing
- Does not stick to the wound, which reduces pain during dressing changes and does not damage newly formed tissue
