Kliniderm Superabsorbent dressing non-sterile is used for heavily exuding wounds as a secondary dressing. Where traditional absorbent dressings are not sufficient and advanced wound dressings are sometimes too expensive, for example because the wound must be inspected daily, this dressing is an excellent solution. - The white side of the dressing is the wound contact layer
- The absorbent core consists of superabsorbent polymers (SAP)
- Consists of 4 layers; a non-woven wound contact layer, a smooth thin intermediate layer that allows the core to move freely in the dressing, a superabsorbent inner layer and a blue, hydrophobic outer layer
