Product description
For cleaning and disinfection of non-critical medical devices made of metal, glass, etc. and for cleaning and disinfection of semi-critical and critical medical devices for mechanical cleaning.
Instructions for use
Make the solution by dissolving it in water of drinking water quality. Place the instruments in the solution immediately after use, ensuring that all surfaces are completely wet. Clean the instruments according to the manufacturer’s instructions, such as the method (e.g. brushing, sweeping). Remove the objects from the liquid after the specified contact time and rinse them with water of at least drinking water quality. According to the RKI recommendations, it is advisable to make a new solution every day.
With continuous use, material changes in polycarbonate, polysulphide and acrylic glass cannot be ruled out, but they can largely be prevented by cleaning after each to rinse the instruments thoroughly. Not suitable for silicone instruments. If flexible endoscopes are mechanically chemical-thermally cleaned, they must be thoroughly rinsed after disinfection cleaning to prevent reactions with the products in the machine. We recommend the use of Sekusept aktiv, Sekusept forte and Sekusept forte S for purely manual, terminal disinfection.
It is best to prepare Sekusept Plus per litre, so you always have the right dose. You fill the measuring cup with 40 ml Sekusept Plus and put this in an empty liter bottle, then fill the bottle with tap water (cold). This solution can be stored for 14 days in a sealed bottle.
Working life of unused application solutions (in a covered instrument tray): 14 days
According to RKI recommendations, a loaded application solution should be be made fresh every day.
